Cynthia Clark

In 1982, Cynthia Clark graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she majored in fashion and commercial photography. After working with several photographers from New York to Europe, she settled down as the studio manager of a commercial photography studio on Fifth Avenue in NYC. She coordinated national print campaigns for top advertising agencies with top talent from model and talent agencies such as Ford, Elite, Wilhelmina, Funny Face and Cunningham, Escott & Dipene. She moved on to represent a special effects photographer which propelled her interest into moving images. She got her foot in the door of Time Inc.’s HBO Studios as a media coordinator. During the development of HBO’s first 24 hour digital cable network, “The Comedy Channel”, Cynthia had worked up to the position of Associate Director of five shows a day. Then, HBO and MTV’s comedy channels merged to become the current network, “Comedy Central”. At that time she moved to Maui and with her 14 years of production experience she decided to open Chameleon Talent Agency. For nine years she has been the only agent representing Maui’s talent--models, cast and crew--professionally for film, television, video and photographic assignments.
